Victory Parade in Transnistria, Tiraspol 2015

The Great Victory Day in Tiraspol. It is one of the biggest celebration of the year. Every year the governments of all former Soviet states commemorate the veterans and children of that devastating war. In the previous years Transnistria organised a massive celebrations with military parades, including demonstration of military techniques, ammunition, parachute jumps and lots of fun in the city. Unfortunately this year it was limited to a few dancing groups and one T-34 performing on the main square. I personaly hope to see next year a better scenario on the streets. Still the city was packed with tourists and guests from many countries.

This year we had a group of tourists from Poland who participated in a parade and also had a walking tour around the city. They where cycling around Moldova and decided to use 24 hours opportunities to stay in Transnistria. Thanks a lot guys for your visit! It was fun to discover Tiraspol with you!
